First Time worries!

I am 10w Pregnant. I have had very mild symptoms so far, tiredness, a couple of days of feeling nauseous, and sore nipples.

I had spotting at 5 weeks for a couple of days and again at 8 weeks for 5 days. My obgyn said not to worry unless it became heavier, or red. The colour was brown and it was light.

During weeks 7/8 I had lower back pain.

I had a transvaginal scan at 7 weeks which showed a strong heartbeat.

At 10 weeks (today) I noticed that the pain in my nipples has gone, as that was my only real symptom, i feel concerned.

Should I feel concerned?

I don’t think you should be concerned. I’m not sure if you have enrolled with a midwife yet? Ask them! What you can also do is call your local triage team at the midwifery unit at your local hospital, they’ve been more than happy to answer any questions or clear up any worries I have had. If you’re really concerned ask to be seen. You can’t be too sure when you’re pregnant! My nipples were so painful when I was early on then as my pregnancy progressed they stopped hurting as much, they’re just a tad sensitive now and are the size of 2 planets! I’m 32 weeks. It’s most likely your hormones settling slightly! Good luck!! Hope all goes well for you x

Hlce24 Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am far more anxious than I am normally, I keep trying to stay calm, It helped to write down my symptoms (Or lack of!) just to see that it isn't as bad as I am building up in my head...!
I am really hoping to feel better after my 11 week genetic screening scan this time next week.
Thanks again xx

I don't think it's a sign of something going wrong. It happened to me too during the first weeks and I was concerned...but after that I had 2 scans and everything was fine.
