Sorry about the gross title.
But really need some advice.

Been having diarrhea for three days and it's not getting better. No other symptoms, just tired as a little dehydrated.
5 weeks pregnant.
I read online that i shouldn't take anything as it can be harmful.

Any tips on how to deal with it???

Welcome to pregnancy! I'm 12 weeks and I have the runs several times a week since week 5! Just make sure it's not bad-food related and you're drinking lots of water. X

You can also try rehydration fluids like lucozade (caffeine free type) or dioralyte. If you lose a lot of fluid through the bowel you wanna replenish those electrolytes. Water is good too for mild dehydration but doesn't contain electrolytes in the right quantities. I'm sure it won't last long. Pregnancy really messed with the digestive system!

Thanks ladies. I had the rehydration sachet this afternoon and more water and feel better.
Belly still feels weird but i hope it will settle soon 😅
As i can't see this happening for another 10 weeks!!

Glad it's helped. Well, I find I'm not going enough so you just can't win with pregnancy, eh? Confused

@SunnySideUp2020 thankful to find someone in the same position as me!! I have had diarrhea/looser stools every day now for the past week but only in the morning!
Its driving me crazy...I was wondering if this could be the alternative to morning sickness! X

@Sophierella24 i think it might be! How far along are you?

Same here! Only a morning thing 🙄
Hasn't happened today though so hoping it's stopping now.
Last time i was pregnant had bad constipation but was really starting to wish for it lately !

Also since yesterday is stopped all dairy... so maybe it helped?

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm around 5/6 weeks I believe..I obviously done the worst thing and googled it which brought up eptopic pregnancy so I have totally stressed myself out over it!
I'm sure it is nothing to worry about, I have an early scan booked to so hopefully that will put my mind at ease! Iv been cautious over what iv been eating so hopefully it will stop soon 🤞🏻 x
