Pregnancy

Am I right in thinking something doesn't add up here?

My friend had unprotected sex and took the morning after pill a few weeks ago, she's been waiting on her period which she said came this week. She's now saying that the period is a miscarriage and that she was a week pregnant. Is that possible? Don't like to think the worst but I'm not sure it adds up...

How does she normally behave?

Did she have a positive pregnancy test before the period? It is possible for the MAP to fail...

Otherwise it’s perfectly normal for the MAP to have worked properly, but make your next period a little late. Only a positive pregnancy test could really prove if the pill had failed

I wouldn’t question it... what’s the point?

She hasn't said if she's done a pregnancy test or not. She has always been a huge attention seeker if I'm honest.

I'd go with your gut. I mean if she was a healthy stable sort of person you wouldn't be questioning it in the first place.

Why does it matter either way? If she is your friend you should treat her that way. If she has made it up, she still needs support x
