What would everyone recommend?

Snuzcloud, Ewan the sheep, Ollie the owl or a white noise app? Any other suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Thanks 😊

I bought Ollie the Owl - DD hated it, too loud and made absolutely no difference.

I ended up using a white noise app on my phone that worked great but she’s 11 months now and doesn’t need anything. The app settled her on a couple night we just couldn’t get her to sleep though! I wouldn’t buy Ollie or any of the others again, he’s just a glorified, expensive teddy now.

We did white noise but bought a little monkey that hangs on the crib that does white noise/lullabies/night light. Means I don't have to sacrifice my phone.

I bought a white noise machine off amazon for about £30 that plugs in to the wall because I didn't think Euan was on long enough (15 min?) and he eats through soo many batteries.

My daughter loved Ewan the sheep, still had him in her bed now! I have a new Ewan for dc2

Homedics MyBaby Soundspa portable.
Takes batteries or mains. You will need to buy a power adapter though but they’re cheap.
There’s several sounds available (we like ocean) and you can either have timer or play til you switch off, and volume up and down buttons. It’s great. I tried Ewan dream sheep but to be honest it didn’t stay on long enough and it gets through loads of batteries.

We downloaded a free app (Baby Sleep) which had loads of different sounds to try... We set up a bluetooth speaker by the cot so we could turn on/off and control volume etc remotely and didn't need to sacrifice our phones!

I think the sleep aids you mentioned can be effective but it's a bit of a expensive gamble to find what works... We tried a few different sounds on the app before finding that the sound of a hairdryer worked like magic for our DS: if he was crying it would literally stop him in his tracks and he would be mesmerised!
