Reduced Movements

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and baby's movements have really slowed down since Saturday night.

This happened before at 26 weeks, I didn't get seen too by anyone and I waited to see if movements changed and 2 days later she was back to her 'normal' moving pattern.

I've tried everything to get baby moving but still staying the same.

I think I know the answer but should I call my maternity unit or is this normal for my baby?
I just don't want to waste anyone's time but my anxiety is through the roof x

Call your hospital. You aren't wasting anyone's time. Reduced movements are important and should always be checked out.

Definitely call the MAU. They'll probably suggest you go in so they can monitor baby for a while and just put your mind at rest.
I'm sure it's absolutely fine but always better to be safe than sorry.

Call them now and get yourself checked. I did exactly that last week (currently 28 weeks) as my lil man hadn't moved since the night before and I was freaking out.
That strapped me up for half an hour to monitor baby and he's fine.
Turns out he was buried towards my back and being lazy! Most likely the case with your lip bundle but please please do call them and get you and baby checked.
Let us know how you get on x

You shouldn’t wait. You should contact MAU the same day as any significant change in movement is noticed.

Definitely call - it’s worth it for peace of mind and nobody will think you are wasting their time. It’s what they’re there for!

Always call the same day don't wait until tomorrow is what the reduced movement leaflet says - I was given this after going on for reduced movements.

Never wait till the next day...

When you get to the hospital and everything is ok then next week you have reduced movements again,
Then you go again, the same day!!!!!

Never leave reduced movements !

My partners SIL did and it was to late,

Yes, please go. I was worried earlier - I’m 25+5 so still pattern is developing but the movements felt less. They saw me straight away told me I’d done the right thing, heard heartbeat. Measured tummy. All fine. Better to just get checked.

I hope you've gone by now. I had to go at 28 weeks. Little monkey had turned breech. Currently 36 weeks and if it happened again I'd go straight in. Maternity units want to see you. They don't ever want you to wait.
