Hey ladies I had a miscarriage this year January and thankful got pregnant again couple months after thank god I went for a early scan the other day and I saw a heartbeat and baby moving but the lady didn't let me hear it because she said she don't let women hear the heartbeat because a lot of women go on google and to start to search things up which is understandable... I just want to know if after seeing a heartbeat and baby moving is really good sign the lady said she is very happy on what she sees so I'm guessing that's good... I just want my rainbow baby after everything I went through in January 💕

Hi OP

I had 2 miscarriages last year. I had an early scan with current pregnancy at 6 weeks.
The scan looked like a little bean with a beating heart. I never heard the heartbeat either.

But it's a very positive thing that baby has heartbeat and moving so I'd try not to worry :)
X

It sounds positive to me! I was told movement is a sign of a happy baby and good strong heartbeat is obviously fab. If also measuring in line with where you think you should be, approximately, then it all sounds positive so far. Look after yourself in these early stages, I know how anxiety provoking and all consuming they can be! Xx 💕

Hi, seeing a heartbeat is a very good sign, it means your baby has cleared a major hurdle in development and sets them up to develop well xx

Hi @AlwaysBelieve19 congratulations!

After 4 years with 3 MMC and 1 MC I know the anxiety too well. With our last one I had a scan with the Recurrent Miscarriage clinic. My consultant wouldn't let me hear the heartbeat and her reason was that it is too much for babies at that stage (I was 8 weeks). She said that private sonographers often offer to listen to the heartbeat but she doesn't as its too risky.

I'm now 16 weeks with our 5th time lucky baby (touch wood) and only heard the heartbeat once at private scan with this one. NHS haven't offered to listen, only see it.
I wish you loads of luck with this baby x
