Hiya as you can see about I use to be on the depo provera injection I have been off of this shop now for 3 years, I have been taking ovulation test and still not getting positive results 3 years later. I am having regular cycles so I don’t really understand what’s going on and would of thought my hormones would of returned to normal by now if anyone has suffered with the same thing or anyone knows what would be the best steps to take next feels do let me know Smile

Have you been using ovulation sticks (CB digital are the best in my opinion) to know whether you're ovulating or not?
If you haven't then I'd get some.
If you have been checking and you have been ovulating but without success for that period of time then I would suggest you and your partner go and have a chat your doctor or fertility clinic, so they can run some tests and make sure you are both healthy.

No I have just been using the dye stick tests to gauge it. Thankyou I’ll give a digital a go

Have you been holding your wee for a few hours before testing OP? Testing throughout day?
I know you’re not supposed to test in the morning but I found with my positive OPK I got the positive in the morning and by afternoon it had gone - if I hadn’t of tested out of curiosity I would have completely missed it

I would definitely go to the doctors lovely. I was on the depo injection and it's awful trying to conceive after. I was one of the very fortunate ones who started ovulating around 7/8 months after my last injection. Then I fell pregnant. They say two years max to get it out your system. Seen as it's been three years I'd speak to your GP for some advice and get things moving for you :) x

@Ineedacoffee21 yes I have been testing in the morning as I know that’s your strongest urine and then I have also taken tests later on in the afternoon and nothing.

@Danielle95lab I defiantly think it’s time for a doctors app now there has to be something else to this I have tried silly fertility vitamins that are suppose to help push ovulation and give you folic acid but tbh I don’t think they do anything.

Hi!

Just to say OPKs never ever worked for me. I never got a strong positive.

Defo go to the doctor to rule out anything else, but for some they just dont work that well.

@Beaniegirl250699 couldn't agree more, get yourself there! I was coming up a year after stopping the depo and on the verge of seeking medical help (I'm very impatient 😂). Honestly, worst thing I ever did that injection more so cause it messed my hormones up so much after.

The doctors will run some blood work and get tests on the go, best of luck!! xxx

I may be wrong but I thought opk sticks have more accurate results in the afternoon? So it should be a midday urine having held for a few hours?

Ah sorry just seen you said you did do some in the afternoon and still nothing,
Might be worth speaking to the dr now then

@Danielle95lab I’m exactly the same so impatient. It is honestly the worst thing I ever done. I have been doing test everyday this month to see if I am just ovulating later on in my cycle but AF isn’t to far away so can’t see a positive coming up anytime soon.
