Faint positive line on pregnancy test

Hi all, I had a miscarriage on the 9th April and have since had negative pregnancy tests confirming that the hormone had gone, we’ve been trying since I stopped bleeding 2 weeks after the miscarriage and I had a positive ovulation test 14 days ago, I don’t know when my period is due but this morning I did a clear blue early detection test and it had an extremely faint line and I also did a digital test which said ‘not pregnant’. Has anyone had a similar experience and gone on to be pregnant or could it be that the test is so sensitive that it’s still picking up the hcg from my miscarriage?

Can anyone else see a very faint line? I’ve edited the photo to black and white as to me it’s slightly more visible but am starting to doubt myself and think it’s just wishful thinking...

Didn't want to read & run. I definitely see a line... if it appeared in the correct timeframe you could be too early for a digital test to detect your HCG as I have read that they are not overly sensitive :) maybe try a pink line test first thing in the morning.

looks positive to me - pink line test seem to be more reliable so try one of this next. Digitals are not very sensitive so will only give a result later than any other test.

I’ve ordered the first response tests on amazon which are pink I believe? They’re meant to be coming tomorrow, do you know if I can keep my tribe sample for a day so that I test with the first one of the day?? Also, I’ve been put off then in the past as think you might only be able to use them when you hold them in your urine stream as opposed to dipping them in to a pot?! Sorry if tmi!

That was meant to say urine, not tribe! Bloomin predictive text!

Love the colour of your nail varnish by the way! 😊

Congrats OP! Digital safe less sensitive than the line tests that's why it's took a little longer 😊

Also about the FRER if you decide to use them... You could keep and use your first sample of the same but it weakens as the day goes on, so I'd just do a fresh hold to be honest. You can pee in a cup and then dip the FRER as well x

Oh Laura I’m so so sorry. It took me just under a tear with my previous 2 pregnancies so was very shocked this morning! Apparently you can be more fertile after miscarriage and mine happened at 10 weeks so I recovered (physically) very quickly. I’m obviously still grieving my loss but the want to be pregnant never went away.... I know some take a long time to feel ready again... everyone’s different x

@EDW1 I am so sorry. I also took a test 3 days ago and came positive then a day after clear blue digital negative and today another test very faint. I have never been pregnant do this is all new to me but it feels strange that the most vivid positive was the first one as it should be getting less faint with time not tone down. I will wait a few more days I guess but I am worried as I am in my late 30s that even if positive the risk is higher

I have a 3 year old and had no bleeding whatsoever with him! Took us a very long time to conceive, and then a quite a ling time again afterwards when I had the first miscarriage.... am going to call dr today as am worried now, desperately want our little family to be complete! We’d so live another child so our son has a little brother or sister to grow up with... I am so so lucky to already have him, he’s perfect. Still hurts to have these losses though. Leala- I really hope you’re ok! Are the tests different brands? And have you used them at different times of the day? Hopefully it’s just down to that...? Clear blue digital aren’t as sensitive I don’t think? Thank you ladies for commenting.

@Bethholds22 you need to start your own thread, it’s insensitive posting on this one.
