chemical pregnancy?

Hi I took a pregnancy test on Friday and got a positive line, the next morning I had some light pink bleeding/spotting and assumed it was implantation bleeding although today I have terrible cramps and heavy bleeding although not quite as heavy as my usual period, if the test is correct that would make me around 3 weeks pregnant I had all the symptoms I did with my first child so I had a good idea I was pregnant and with the test confirming it I'm now thinking could this be a chemical pregnancy with the blood I'm experiencing?

Get in touch with your gp if you can and they should be able to refer you to EPU at the hospital to have some tests even if you're not "booked in" yet.

I had a chemical last year and what you've described sounds like the experience I had. If it is a chemical then unfortunately there's nothing to be done, they're awful to go through though. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about Thanks
