I am petrified. I've been having on and off cramps and backache the past few days which my doctor put down to gastritis. I've just gone to the toilet and I'm bleeding. Not a huge amount but blood on every wipe. I've also got cramps and backache again. I'm so worried, has this happened to anyone else? Please some positive stories I'm waiting for my partner to come over so he can take me to the labour ward because I can't drive on my night time medication. :(

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Hang on in there, so many people have bleeding throughout pregnancy. Sending positive vibes your way.

I bled on and off throughout dds pregnancy. I had random gushes of blood or sometimes just a little. It was a sign that i had overdone it and needed to rest more.
A couple of times i had an infection also.

Sending positive vibes your way xx

I had bleeds throughout two of my pregnancies. Baby was always fine but they never identified a cause

Have you called maternity triage? The number should be on your notes. Call them. Go in and get checked.

It could be something or it could be nothing but they will always check you x

Hi everyone, thank you for the reassurance. I went in last night and baby was fine, had movements and heard the heartbeat. The bleeding is a cervical ectopy which they said is normal and nothing to worry about. Pleased everything is okay!
