Hi all I'm 39 weeks today, went for a shower and then this happened just wondered if it's my mucus plug? Phoned delivery suite they're not concerned unless I've had pains so was just wondering if it looks like my mucus plug.
Thanks in advance, will be excited if it was. GrinGrinx

Mine started going like this at 36 weeks and became more like blobs (sorry!) as time went on. I ended up being induced at 40 weeks for medical reasons 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was excited when I first started to lose it and thought for sure baby would be early!

Looks promising @shanxoxo if you have a 'show' which is your plug mixed with blood it's good signs labour is on its way! Keep active if you can! I've been losing mine for the past week... fingers crossed for you xx

Looks like it. I’m losing mine now at 40 weeks. Apparently it can mean labour is weeks away or imminent.. which isn’t very helpful lol. I am having some cramping though off and on throughout the day so hoping it won’t be too long.
I lost my plug in one go with my first and Labour followed a few days later.
Good luck. X

@shanxoxo he didn’t keep me waiting long! Came on his due date.. just! Went in hospital at 9.15pm with moderate contractions and had him 11.26pm.. very very short labour!
Even faster than when I had my daughter unfortunately so not much time for anything. On a positive it was over quickly!
Good luck 😉 xxx

I wasn’t! When contractions were coming strong I looked at the clock and though fuck me.. I can’t do this. Then I needed to push and 4 contractions later he was here!
Just overjoyed now but sooo tired. I’d forgotten what hard work bf a newborn is. My boobs are stinging off! Blush
