I would go to a big Mothercare one of their mega stores and push them all I would say the Bugaboo is your best bet as its a dream to push and the resale is brilliant people are paying £500 for one using them for 2 years and selling them for £300!

bebe confort make very, very lovely prams.
If you don't mind second hand you can pick up some good bargains on ebay because it isn't a "cool" enough brand.
something like the trophy air 6 chassis you can clip a carrycot, car seat or normal seat on. forward and backward facing, lovely to push.
really nice

I'd recommend like the soldier's mummy says and go to Mothercare and push them all. Make sure you put something heavy like a bag of spuds in them, as, I kid you not, they can push very differently with some weight in them. You might get some funny looks but if you're spending hundreds of pounds on a pram you want to get it right.

we've got Jane three wheel Slalom Pro buggy its very light (important when you live 2 flights up!) and manouverable, used it from when ds was about 6/7 weeks old (used sling before that), has had over a year of daily pavement pounding with no probs. Friends have other varieties in the Jane range, all seem to have lasted well.

this comes highly recommended
I haven't tested it with an i'pod yet, but as the hood sits so high, it accomodates my 3 year old just as well as my 12 week old.
It has an extendable handle, lays completely flat and faces either front or back. A buggyboard attaches to it really well. The only downside is that it has a small shopping basket and is quite heavy to lift when both parts are together, but as it seperates, it isn't a problem.
I know this isn't one of your choices, but I wanted to put it in as an option.
