Bleeding during pregnancy

Hello,

I've had some spotting when I wiped yesterday after I had come back from a run and it was like a pinky colour mixed in with my normal cervical mucus. It's stopped now but I'm just concerned as I had a missed miscarriage 2 years ago in January and touch wood I haven't had it too bad with pregnancy symptoms, has anyone else ever experienced this?

Thanks!

How far along are you? I had episodes of spotting and three quite alarming bleeds in early pregnancy, all of which seemed to be linked to exercise. I was advised by my doctor to take it easy.

I'm 21 weeks now and all seems to be well at the moment, thankfully. The general consensus amongst the medical staff I encountered was that spotting and bleeding in the first trimester is 'not normal, but common'. I was told that if there was less blood than my normal period and the bleeding wasn't continuous, it was probably OK, but I'm no doctor - I'd say it's best to make an appointment to get it checked out.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage and I hope everything's OK for you this time.

I've had little bits of spotting throughout, sometimes pinky tinged in my normal discharge and sometimes little bits of brown and I had a scan today at 7 weeks 3 days and everything was fine. I've been told so much that spotting is normal but it's still easy to get yourself worried. Its probably nothing. Going for a run is safe in pregnancy as long as you're not being to strenuous and over doing it.

Thought I'd better add that, like newbabyyy2019 says, it's usually absolutely fine to exercise in pregnancy! Many women can happily continue with their normal routines and it's not harmful at all - quite the opposite.

I was a special case and found it very frustrating not to be able to run, actually. I changed to swimming, yoga and country walks on the advice of my doctor, but still miss running!

I have also been have spotting/bleeding. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant and haven't seen anyone yet. Last week I had pink mixed in with my usual discharge, seen only when wiping, and called 111 and managed to speak with a doctor who didn't seem worried. Then on Thursday I had the same again but this time it was a bit more red.

Then last night I had a couple of red drips in the toilet and almost watery bright red on tissue when wiping. 3 times in the space of a week and it seems more progressive every time. I called 111 again last night and now have an epu appointment tomorrow morning. With everything I've read on this it seems so mixed with what's normal and what's not. I'm so worried and nervous for tomorrow. This is my first so everything just scares me at the moment. :(
