This is probably going to sound ridiculous but this is the first morning I’ve had to myself since I found out we’re expecting and trawling the internet, I think I’ve scared myself shitless.

I’ve still got the ‘about to come on your period symptoms’, which I get is normal, but it feels a bit like like my uterus is a little full and heavy. I’ve got clear discharge too, not too heavy that it goes into my pants but enough to make me feel rather moist down there. I also feel a bit bloated and gassy (wheeey) and my stomach bubbles a bit. This alongside sore boobs that seem to get worse throughout the day and a very weak stomach. I thought about being sick this morning then spent the next 5 minutes wretching.

Does this sound normal or has anyone else has this around this time? (I’m 5+3 according to my app). Internet theory is normal early pregnancy symptoms or death. I think I’m going to tear my hair out for the duration of this pregnancy Blush

They all sound like normal pregnancy symptoms to me (I’m on my third pregnancy). Which of the symptoms in particular are worrying you?
Congratulations.

I think it’s more the feeling in my uterus and the discharge having read that these can be signs of miscarriage too. And partly realising how sensitive this trimester is.

I think I tried to make myself feel better about telling a few close family members this weekend and I seem to have scared myself out of it now. But I’ve always been adamant, up until this point that whatever happens, I wouldn’t want us to have to go through it on our own.

Heavy feeling in your uterus and increased discharge are perfectly normal! I’m currently 8+5 and still experiencing increased clear discharge.
The first trimester is very sensitive, and obviously no one knows how things are going to go. But what you describe is nothing to worry about Smile

I've had nearly all of those - if you're five weeks are you due in Jan? Come on over to the thread for those of us who are and you'll hear a lot of more that!

Oh no, sorry to hear that @sexnotgender. Congratulations though! I hope everything goes well for you this time round.

I have learnt my lesson on google, I was ready to bin my phone and stop any contact with the wider world but this forum has saved my sanity lol.

Thanks, google is the worst, you’re always dying no matter what symptoms you put inConfused

It’s ridiculous isn’t it? You shouldn’t worry about this symptom, it’s completely normal, but you should probably prepare yourself for the worst too because the symptom don’t sound good. 🤦🏻‍♀️
