It’s a Boy!

My DH and I went yesterday for a private gender scan. It took 6 scans and almost 3 hours before we could see what he was! He’s a stubborn little thing (just like me, I suppose). Although, the bottom of my belly is really tender today! Has anyone else experienced this? How long is it tender because I’m even struggling to walk properly.

Congratulations!! Little boys are awesomeGrin (I may be biased as I'm due with DS3...!) At my 20 week scan they had trouble getting the measurements so he was scanning me for 40 mins and pressing very hard- I was tender for the rest of the day but not to the point that it hurt to walk! However, he wouldn't scan for any longer than that so I had 2 more scans the following week to get all they needed. Maybe they were just a bit forceful trying to get the baby into a different position? If it's still sore tomorrow might be worth speaking to your midwife.

Thistles24 - Thank you Smile I kept saying that I would love to have a girl, but I’m so happy he’s a boy Smile DH is ecstatic!! It’s not as bad today, definitely wearing off. I didn’t feel like she was being that forceful but obviously she was.

MyKingdomForBrie - I said the last time we went in that if he hadn’t moved, I was giving up. If I had known how tender I was going to be afterwards I would have stopped earlier.
