Pregnancy is risky. The odds of a miscarriage are 1% or less after 12 weeks but a risk remains until week 24... When it becomes the stillbirth risk, which is about 0.5% on average.

The majority of women will have normal straightforward pregnancies and live births but risks never disappear.

There isn’t a safe zone. Pregnancy and birth are the riskiest things most women will ever do.
If you mean when does the miscarriage rate drop to steady state then it doesn’t go down much after 12 weeks.
Twelve week testing (triple test plus nuchal fold scan) will usually show you if there are major chromosome abnormalities like DS but the triple test is not 100% accurate and produces both false positives and false negatives. If you need more confidence than that you can use one the NIPT tests like harmony which (while still a screening not a diagnostic test) are 99% and above accurate

In terms of when a baby can survive outside the womb (with medical help) it’s from 24 weeks. That’s not to say all babies born this early will survive. No pregnancy is 100% safe. There is always a risk of losing the baby, sadly. But most pregnancies end happily. Try not to dwell on the what ifs and just be mindful to monitor movements when they start in earnest. Good luck!
