Hello.

Finally got my BFP after three months of TTC. I know I'm very lucky as really didn't think it was going to happen easily for us. Although we've only been trying since December I really struggled emotionally when everyone else around me was falling pregnant.

But today I got my BFP on Mother's Day! 11 days post ovulation and had the faintest of lines thismorning. Took a digital test this afternoon and so surprised to see 'pregnant'!!

Wondered if there were any other mum's to be who found out this weekend or are expecting in November?

Going to call the doctor tomo to confirm but very excited! Keeping my fingers crossed it sticks!!

BFP today! Any Nov 2018 mum's out there??!

Congrats OP.

Your dr won't confirm, home tests are so accurate that's all you need.
Also GP is likely to be bemused if you book an appt with them. In most trusts you self refer to the midwife, there should be info on your GP website. You can likely book now but they won't see you till about 8-10 weeks.

Congrats again!

Congratulations! I just found out this morning - took 2 tests as I didn't believe it. I've been quite poorly (sickness and diarrhoea with period type cramps), so while I'm pleased, I hope this isn't it for the duration. I'll be due in November though - the best early Christmas present! I came off the pill in Feb last year, and got married mid last year....I think people expected that I wanted to be expecting but I guess it was meant to be now.

Congratulations @roundtoedshoes @red1hen @edenbeezer @xsunnyx the best Mother's Day gift ever!! This is my first so nice to be able to speak to someone when it's too early to tell friends and family!

I haven't had any symptoms apart from mild cramping. Took another test this morning to check it was still there! It's very nerve wracking!

Thanks @zaalitje i looked on my gps website and need to see a doctor before they refer me to a midwife. I have an appointment tomorrow. Felt very real telling the receptionist and receiving my first congratulations!!

@emelene yes I've joined the big group :) just lots to keep track of on there!!

@MrsStam9 it's my first as well, I'm usually very open person so its going to be hard not to tell anyone.
I already feel a little emotional I welled up when I walked past the baby aisle in Tesco haha.
The only slight twinge I keep getting is similar to that if you had a UTI but it's not very strong and not constant.
It's very early but I can't help but keep thinking ahead

Here! Congrats everyone. I'm still so nervous and the wait until the 12 week scan seems mikes away. But still, all very exciting Flowers

Congratulations!

I got my BFP on the 8th, I really wanted to
Wait to test til Mother’s Day but I just knew and couldn’t wait! It’ll be my second baby with #1 currently being nearly 19 months. This was also our third cycle. I feel so lucky but keeping everything crossed for a smooth ride.
I had terrible ms from about 6-22 weeks last time so am making the most of just tiredness for now before that kicks in!
I’m going to call the gp next week to arrange my booking in appointment with the mw for a week or so afterwards.
So far edd would be 12th November but I’ll likely have an ecs which would be at 39 weeks xx

@XSunnyX gosh identical experiences for us then!

I have my doctors appointment today. She just took my blood pressure and felt my stomach. Used this wheel to work out my due date based on my last period. Annoying as I told her I knew when I ovulated and as I have long cycles I know predicting the old fashioned way isn't as accurate. So she put me down as further along then I know i am! Have my first midwife appointment on the 10th April. Countdown begins!

Hi everyone!

I found out on Monday I'm pregnant with my first and I'm just SO delighted I can't even tell you!

I'm due on November 20th... even typing that doesn't feel real!

It's just such a bizarre feeling having these tests tell you you're pregnant but you feel no different (apart from SO TIRED!)

Aghhh so chuffed for all of us Smile

Thanks @XSunnyX actually feeling pretty awful. Had some tablets from the dr but not sure they're working. Not sure how I'm going to return to work on Monday! Shouldn't complain though...

XSunnyX · 17/03/2018 18:48

Aww dear Star88 is it morning sickness? Hopefully the tablets will start working soon and you will feel better Monday. If not you might need time off, have you told work yet? I'm not sure how long to wait. Rest up

@star88 sorry you're having a rough time already! Apart from the cramping which is scaring the life out of me I haven't had any nausea yet.

@xsunnyx calling the GP surgery to book def made it feel more real. To be honest still all feels quite surreal!

Congratulations @poppy1984 and @heresmeh, you're due a day before me :)

So I had a bit of bleeding yesterday morning and it scared the life out of me. Wasn't much at all but because I've been cramping it really worried me. Pleased I've got to this afternoon without any more! Anyone else had anything similar?

@MrsStam9 everywhere says how natural it is but doesn't make it any less scary. I've had mild cramps and backache at times but no spotting. People have been writing about it in the other groups so it really is common. I hope you are feeling OK?
