Hi all I'm new to this and don't really understand but I'm trying to find out if what I'm feeling is normal , my babies breech and I'm 39 weeks I have a horrendous aching pain in my bum that's making me push as it's so much pressure , every time I try to go to the toilet there's nothing there to come out ... has anybody experienced this before ? Also have lower back pain and the occasional tightening across my stomach

Thanks for all the replies the tightenings aren't regular it's more the aching of my back and bum and the urge to push because of the pressure , I've rung he hospital so much during my pregnancy and always get sent up there and sent back home because it's Braxton Hicks ... do you think I should wait it or or just get it checked ?

Breech labours are often quite quick. I would get checked out just incase, especially if you have a pushy feeling. It might be nothing but something is causing that pressure and it’s worth finding out what.

Hope all goes well OP.

My DS was breech and all my contractions were felt through my bottom to start with. At its peak I couldn't sit down even to go to the toilet. Def get checked out.
