Im 5 weeks pregnant. Found out last weekend hadnt phoned dr yet or anything. I already have 2 children the youngest being 4 months. The last few days ive been having terrible cramps and today im having what feels like the worst period of my life. Do i need to go to the dr or do i just ride it out? Ive never been in this situation before but i know that if Im losing this baby then i cant stop it. 😭 any positive stories of people bleeding and still being pregnant after? Im pretty sure i wont be from the way im feeling this isnt just a bleed, but when would my hormones still show as positive on a test? In 1 week or 2 maybe?

Hi Lubyloo,
Sorry you're going through this and feeling so awful!
Unfortunately I have no experience that can help you but in posting I hope it encourages others to read who can hopefully help you!
My only advice would be to call me Drs/midwife first thing in the morning and explain your concern and see what they say. You could always call 111 now and speak to them to reassure you.
All the best and I hope you get some sleep Thanks

When I had miscarriage, my tests became negative after around 12 days

I’ve had bleeding with a healthy pregnancy and with miscarriage. I’d make a GP appointment as they might want to do an ultrasound

Thanks for the advice I will phone GP today. 12 days seems an age to wait to just do it by tests. Thanks all
