Hi everyone not one to make a fuss so don't want to ring PAU or labour ward if it's not needed when I'm sure they are busy enough but when should I ring?

I woke up about 2 hours ago with discomfort in my back. Not pain just felt as if I slept funny angle and busting for a wee I thought it was that! As I got up I felt something come out of me and when I went to toilet I noticed some of my plug come out.

For last two hours I've been up losing more of my plug and watery substance(sorry for TMI) I've got a maternity pad on now because I don't want to soak my pjs!

I wouldn't be worried about it because I know you can lose your plug at any time without it meaning anything but I keep getting a bad back like a tight pain and I'm wondering If this is start of labour?
I'm 39+6 today

Sounds like things are kicking off. Good luck! No need to call anyone till it's properly morning. Sounds like all you need to mention is that your waters might be gone. They'll want to check that so they can put you on the clock if they have. But unless there's muconium in your waters, there's no rush.

Ooooo exciting, a really rubbish answer from me but ‘it depends’ yes it certainly could be a sign but equally you can wait a couple of days post plug for things to start.
I wouldn’t send your partner to work though and see how the next hour or so plays out. You’ll definitely know when the proper contractions kick in.

Wishing you a great labour (and even if it’s pants) hold onto the thought that there is no other moment that compares to meeting your baby for the first time xxx

Sounds like the start i would let labour ward know due to the watery substance

It's very likely. I never visibly lost my plug, but I got lots of EWCM/watery discharge for about 24 hours before. Then my waters broke and labour started. I wouldn't do much now. Just keep an eye on it and get some rest, eat if you feel like it and see what happens later in the day.

Phoned PAU and going at half 11 to check if waters broke or not

Hopefully it's the start of something I can't wait to meet him! Xx

Hi I'm just under two months pregnant and have had severe sickness for just over 3 weeks where it was impossible for me to keep food or drink down. Thought this was normal and I'm only 18 and it's my first time being pregnant. I went to the hospital for my scan and told them what had been happening and they immediately told me they'd have to keep me in for a few days and gave me fluids through a drip and lots of antisickness medications also through a drip. I've been home for a few days and have been taking the anti sickness tablets they gave me but have still been feeling very naseau. Woke up at 4am this morning and couldn't stop gagging it was so painful on my stomach and nothing was coming up. Went back to sleep until 8 and took a tablet around 9 but just threw up my breakfast. Is this supposed to happen? I thought the tablets would prevent this and I don't know whether to be worried or not? Please help😩
