12 week scan advice

I’ve just had my letter for my 12 week scan though the post. I’m 11 weeks today but my scan is for the 2nd feb so I’ll be 13+ 3 on scan day. Is that ok ? They will be checking for downs etc as well as correct dating but will this be too far on ? With my other 3 (over 13 years ago) my scans were always done at the 12 week mark. I’m
A little worried as I have no symptoms anyway and it just feels like further to get to to know if baby is ok.
Am I being a idiot ? I don’t want to mither the hospital needlessly

The window for nuchal translucency screening is between 11+0 and 13+6 so you'll be fine as long as you are sure of your dates. If you're over 14 weeks you might be offered quadruple screening for Down's instead.

Yes I’m sure if my dates due too 3 early scans at 6, 7 and 9 weeks from lmp all dating the same and estimated ovulation.
I think I’m being a brat as in my head I kept telling myself get to next Friday as my next mile stone (previous mc’s) so for it to be put back again has obviously added more time on for me knowing if everything is ok. I’ll put my big girl pants on and get a grip as I’ll definitely be under 13 + 6. Thank you for replying I feel better knowing I’m in the correct time period.

As you've had scans and are sure date wise I'm sure it's fine.
My scan was at 13+3 (was expected to be 12+3 but they dated me a week more on the day) and had no issues with getting screening etc done.

I felt exactly the same when I got my appointment - upset that I'd have to wait longer, and a bit worried that it seemed to be later than everyone else's (I also have a history of miscarriage). I had mine done at what early scans done at the same hospital had told me was 13 weeks - it actually turned out to be 13+3, so I'm glad I wasn't any later as it would have made me more anxious if they hadn't been able to do the nuchal translucency. I think it would be worth giving them a ring and asking if there are any earlier appointments - the worst they can say is no. But if there aren't, don't stress - having it done at 13+3 is absolutely fine.

Thank you all I’m feeling better for your comments. I think I’m a bit stressed because this is my surprise rainbow baby. As after fertility treatments for unexplained secondary infertility being unsuccessful, except for 3rd round which ended in mc at 6 weeks and then being told my chances of ever conceiving naturally were below 3% I’m sort of expecting something to crop up to mess things up as I can’t believe I’ll be lucky enough to get though this all easily. I just wanted the screening done ASAP. Kind of wishing I’d had the harmony test now. I’ve been so good giving myself a talking to and putting negative thoughts at the back of my mind but with the scan being later than I stupidly anticipated I had i a wobble. I don’t even know how long the results take and keeping the pregnancy a secret with the worry of waiting is a pain in the ass. Although I guess the no symptoms helps with that but then I worry about mmc so it’s a constant niggle in the back of my mind
God I’m rambling on sorry
