So uncomfortable!

This is dc3 and I'm 31 weeks. I don't remember feeling as heavy, awkward, stretched, unfit with the other 2. I feel like I can't possibly get any bigger or heavier... is this normal?

35 weeks with DC2 and have been feeling the same. Hasn’t been helped by being quite badly anaemic.
I feel huge. My back hurts like I’ve never experienced before. Feel like I have no strength in me and even short walks leave me feeling worn out. It was nowhere near this hard with DC1. I’m so desperate to get my body back and try and get some fitness back. I’m really not enjoying feeling so useless Sad

I'm nearly 40 wks with #4 in 5 yrs. I've found this one very tough but worst period was 30-36 weeks. I'm marginally better now than I was then weirdly!

Hi Blink, I am at a similar stage to you - 30 weeks tomorrow and can really relate to what you are saying. This is dc3 for me also and I am an older lady - nearly 44 and whilst I remember working full-time with dc1 almost up to birth (though it wasn't completely plain sailing) and being enormous with dc2, I have struggled with this pregnancy. I don't know how much of it is because I am anxious because I am older or whether it because this I have a lot of combined little niggles. I think the baby is sitting high and causing breathlessness too - I had this in my other pregnancies as well I seem to recall and have been checked for anaemia and various other things. My dh has been an amazing support and is run ragged working full time, doing the bulk of the housework and childcare (after and before work) because I have no other support network really (friends work/have older children etc.) I definitely need to get my fitness back - I lost nearly two stone before pregnancy with diet and fitness and now it has piled back on (keeping off the scales until after birth). But wanted to say, yes I can relate and maybe having other dcs means that your stomach muscles etc are stretched already...I don't know.
