Pain as if baby is dropping into pelvis

Like a sudden sharp pain every now and then over the last day or so.
Anyone else get this? So painful almost like the baby is pushing out suddenly down there! 3rd baby don't remember it with the others but I'm guessing it's another lovely symptom!

yeah I had this but turns out it wasn't the baby moving down but actually turning round to become back to back the little crap

hopefully It's a sign your baby has moved down though!

Oh I see! Well that could.explain it as it's almost like the baby gets stuck or bashes something down there! My bump did look lower down I thought although not so much now I've eaten... 😄
Awful rib pain too lately, this baby seems to be everywhere.

Could be just pressing on a nerve

Yes could be that. It's certainly an intense pain when it happens so that would make sense.

33 weeks with twins here and also had this! Sharp pains last night, which went onto feel like period pain, and now just a lot of pressure in pelvis. I’d love to know what’s going on. Can’t stop looking for signs 🙈

Me too! Sorry you've had it too , it's so hard not to worry isn't it! I've only had it once today so assuming mine was more positional ( or stress as yesterday was more stressful) I can imagine with twins it's more severe too!

I had what felt like a heavy weight pushing down on the pelvis in the last few weeks with DC3, didn't have it with the first two.

Yeah maybe it was positional. Maybe the same for me, I woke up and my bump looked flat too! Was Weird! Twins are a lot more likely to be born premature too quite often between 33-38 weeks so I just can’t help now but think “is this the start”

Teazle I wonder if it's a third child thing! While googling ( as you do!) I'm sure I found something about there being more of that sort of thing in subsequent pregnancies.
Dangle90 that must be frustrating. I have had moments of thinking the same when there is no reason to think it will be early just can't help worrying.
