Feels like she's never going to come out

Due 29 November and have been huge from.the start

I've had strong Braxton hicks where I've thought this could be the start of labour for over a week.

I've not lost any of my plug at any point. I just feel like she's never going to come out and hat I'll have to be induced or c section to get her out.

Did any of you feel this way and have baby naturally??

I had this feeling with my first. 2 sweeps and an appointment for induction later and she arrived at 42 weeks, the day before I was due for induction.
Currently 36+5 with DS and I just want some sort of sign, I can’t go overdue again, it was the most painful 2 weeks of my life!

Finger crossed you get going soon!

Oh I feel your pain- I’m currently 8 days overdue and it’s torture. I don’t think my baby is ever going to come out!

Me! My first 2 were born at 37 and 38 weeks. Ds2 (he’s 4 months) was born at 41+6 after being induced with one Pessary. I feel like I was waiting extra long as I was expecting to have him early in line with my either two. Totally wiped the smugness off my face 😂😂😂
Although saying that, he was my easiest (and quickest) labour

Both times -both dds didn’t want to come out, 2 inductions near 42 weeks, 2 normal deliveries. It’s horrible but you will get your baby soon! There’s only so long the little blighter can escape your cuddles now

Yep pretty much feeling the same At the moment. Been quite big since the start. Felt really unwell and sure I was going to go in to Labour early around 36 weeks and everyone kept saying I would go early.
Am now 3 days over due and had a failed sweep yesterday. No signs of anything happening any time soon either! 😐

I was like this with my first. She was 12 days late, she wouldn't budge!!

Awh Flowers

Have literally just created a post on this board about the same thing - am due on Friday, have been having signs of labour and contractions. Plenty of pain and discomfort but no baby yet :(

I think it's worse for me this time as when I had DD 2 years ago, it was my first labour and I had absolutely no warning signs, just woke up one morning and started getting contractions. So I was not prepared for this looooong slow build up this time! Envy

Sorry instead of whinging about my own situation - the point I meant to make was, I didn't feel any build up to labour with DD, no BH contractions, no funny discharge or plug loss or bloody show. I had been booked an induction date for 10 days past my due date already and one morning at 40 + 3 I woke up, pottered around for a bit, sat down on the sofa and started to get definite contractions! Absolutely no prior warning, and she was here by the early hours of next morning :)

So it absolutely can happen, even if you feel like it never will. Hang in there Flowers

Having posted at 3pm saying it was never going to happen my DD was born at 9.45pm last night!! It was torture waiting for her, but well worth the wait!! Best of luck to you xx

Congrats guard up!! Amazing news

Thanks all. I know it's still early being 37 weeks but it feels like I've been the size of someone at 37 weeks since 30 weeks haha.

Congratulations @Guardup Smile
Hope it's not too much longer for you OP, but I think because I was so convinced I was going to go early that's why I'm so fed up I haven't 😂 have just accepted now it's most likely going to be next week before the baby is here!

I totally felt like this...
Had braxton hicks for ages, never lost any plug and went past 40 weeks thinking I’d end up being induced at 41+4 like they do here in Denmark, but at 41 weeks I had a sweep and that evening I went into labour!

The last few weeks feel like a lifetime... I was so tired of being pregnant and felt like I’d be pregnant forever... now I have 12 week old son and I can’t believe how fast 12 weeks can go....

I'm hoping my midwife will give me a sweep on due date due to the reduced movements I've had and how bad my spd is plus I am absolutely huge 😂 so painful x

I'm the same due date OP and completely get how you're feeling!!

My situation is quite different - been carrying high and small (growth scan showed baby was curled into a ball), lost plug last weekend, been crampy and hormonal all week with some wildly infrequent but strong pains (days apart) and baby has been dropping more and more each day to the point that I barely have a bump left!! So many positive signs and yet since nothing "real" has happened, it feels like it's not going to at all!

Feeling very impatient! Hope it comes around quick for us both OP! Best of luck!
