Hello everyone, I have just joined Mumsnet, so hopefully I have put this in the right place. I have booked to have a early pregnancy scan at The Birth Company on Harley Street tomorrow, has anyone been here and if so can you tell me what to expect. I am 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I have had some light bleeding, I have been to my g.p who doesn't seem to think it's anything to worry about but my anxiety levels have been through the roof, hence me booking a private scan, also any info on what I should expect to see on the scan as I know I am very early in the pregnancy so not expecting much, thanks in advance.

I had a scan here with my first pregnancy at 9 weeks. They were really professional and friendly. The scan didn't feel rushed at all. They gave me a report with measurements which was clear to understand (as well as a photo). With my current pregnancy I had a baby bond scan at 7 weeks and the sonographer saw very little except for a heartbeat. She put me back to 6 weeks but my 12 week scan put me back forward again. I had light bleeding with both pregnancies until 12 weeks and found early scans reassuring. Hope it goes well for you tomorrow.

Yes I had a growth scan there at around 25 weeks and was very impressed

I had a reassurance scan there at 32 weeks and they were great, I thought the sonographer was very knowledgeable and reassuring!

Thank you Lulublu I don't expect to see much at 7 weeks, I just didn't want to wait for my 12 week scan like my doctor told me to as whilst he said it was most likely implantation bleeding, he also said it could be a ectopic or miscarriage, I know they have to tell you all possibilities, but I didn't want to spend 5 weeks worrying. Even if it's a heartbeat detected and in the right place then I will be happy, I will post a update after my appointment if all goes well.

Thanks for the reassurance pops1985 and onemoremummy it's much appreciated, I have spent a couple of days looking up different clinics to see which had the best reputation and The Birth Company had mainly good reviews, I'm just a little nervous as it's all new to me.
