So as in title.. I'm 20 weeks. Normally a size 12 closer to a 14 pre pregnancy., I've always been a bit tubby in areas. And have a mummy tummy from my older DC.
Today my sil said oh you're really it big for 20 weeks. You need to get checked. I'm generally not a worrier but she's managed to lol

Looks perfectly normal to me.

With my first pregnancy I was in my regular uniform until 22 weeks and no one noticed I was even pregnant. With my 2nd and 3rd I was in maternity wear at about 12 weeks!

You look lovely 😊

I had a flat stomach at gone 20 weeks (Oh, they were the days.) and still had a nice chunky baby.

Everyone is different.

I'm not sure if you're asking if it's big or small? Either way, your midwife would say something if there was an issue. Your SIL is being a bellend.

One thing that really pisses me off is the way people feel they are entitled to comment on how you look. I just ask people not to comment or let them know I don't really want them to comment on me. Unless it's my mum.

It's fine, ignore her, if a medical professional is concerned fair enough but other than that just ignore random comments.

My Mum still wore her size 12 jeans at her 20 week scan when she was pregnant with me. She only started to look very obviously pregnant from 6 months.

I lost weight in the first trimester of my first pregnancy, and I just looked like I’d added a few pounds around my middle in my 2nd trimester. I was like my Mum in that I only started looking very obviously pregnant from 6 months.

It's fine! Everyone's different. I had nothing at 20 weeks. I went on hol at 24 weeks and no one noticed even in my bikini. Things were getting tight when I came home though.

I was always told I looked too big or too small. Peoples bodies carry babies differently and no one can really remember how they looked when pregnant.

I was told I was huge by family but the midwife said I was measuring 2 weeks behind. Went for a scan and they said I was going to have a whopper of a baby.
Make up your minds I said!
Baby was born at term completely average weight.

Ignore ignore ignore

I was still wearing regular size 14 work trousers at 37 weeks so I wouldn't worry.

First child I was a size 10 and didn't show until 6 months.

Second child I was a 12/14 and from 12 weeks I was bigger than you are!

Everyone has an opinion on your bump and pregnancy and it is rarely helpful or kind.

You look lovely
