Pregnancy

Am I or not?

First of all this is going to be long sorry.

So I DTD on the 23/6 I had a coil fitted on the 7/7. Have taken approx 20+ tests all negative including one I took yesterday.
However I keep getting a pain in boob and I have a funny taste. (I have a cracked tooth if that is causing it)

Is there anyway I am pregnant?? The thing that worries me is if I am I am not sure I can keep it.

If you've had over 20 negative tests, you're not pregnant.

Loads of things can cause sore boobs and funny tastes.

I’ve done IVF to get pregnant. When a cycle didn’t work and tests were negative (first response and clear blue digital), I didn’t have a baby 9 months later. When I did a cycle and the tests were positive, I had my son 9 months later. I’d say it’s fairly unlikely that you are pregnant if 20 tests say negative but if your body is telling you otherwise, see your doctor.

No, very doubtful. It would put you at about 18 weeks. Are you putting in weight? Anything else? They’re not really very convincing symptoms as could mean hundred of things.

These are the two tests I have done last two days. I just don’t know what’s going on. I feel like a crazy person. I am not putting on weight. I will book an appointment for this week. They are just hard to book. If it wasn’t for the sore boobs and funny taste I don’t know what to think.

@hugapenguin perhaps it's just me but on looking at those images I'm sure I can see faint lines... much harder to see anything at all when zoomed in though so I don't know. Usually though further on in pregnancy you get a strong line on a test. I do have a friend who never got a line throughout her pregnancy though.

Sometimes when we have weird symptoms it can be because we're thinking about it/worried and in my case obsess obsess obsess.

Maybe think about booking a Dr's apt. You could say tests have mostly been negative but that you've seen a couple of questionable faint lines and you just want to be sure. They might be able to do blood tests and they can certain feel your tummy. The latter is how another friend of mine found out she was pregnant at 5 months!

Thank you @MaverickSnoopy yes I will try and get an appointment tomorrow. That’s what is worrying me it would make me about 18weeks if I am. Which I know i only have a short time to decide on my choices. It’s so hard.

I don’t know if I am obsessing so much over it which is why I think I have symptoms.

Does a coil cause symptoms, maybe?

The tests definitely look negative to me couldn't see in the first pic as there's long hair all over it?! Grin

maverick you're seeing where the test strip collects the dye if it were a positive test. There's no dye-those are negative.

Thank you both for that. I will still book an appointment tomorrow because it’s making my anxiety go through the roof.

Not sure about the coil symptoms will have to look.

I would say those are negative. I can't even see a hint of a line.

Hope you get reassurance soon.

Ah OK. Just shows what I know about tests! Doctors might be worth it anyway if you're not right. Try not to worry about it though. Easier said than done.

Go to the doctors anyway if you're worried, but by 18 weeks a positive test would be a strong positive! If the coil is one with hormones in it, those could be causing your symptoms.

The sheer amount of negatives you've had combined with the fact the tests you've shown look negative, id say you're not pregnant.
