Curious - first baby was ELCS for breech at 39 weeks. I'm 30 weeks with second baby who is in normal position. Seems most women's second babies come earlier than the first but I don't know if that's due to them already having gone into labor before. So just curious really - anyone's second baby after ELCS come before 40 weeks?

Dc1 ELCS for breech
Dc2 bang on due date
Dc3 7 days late
Dc4 10 days early
All 3 spontaneous VBACs and all around the same birth weight.

I was curious about this too as my first was elcs at 39 weeks for breech and currently 37 weeks with my second - head down and 2/5ths engaged at my last midwife appointment. Keep hearing second labours are faster but I guess that doesn't count if I've never been in labour before as there won't be any muscle memory in the uterus and nothing has been stretched etc? And also heard second babies might not engage or they bob in and out of pelvis until labour, but is that true if the first one never engaged at all?

I'm equally in the dark Tippety as everyone I know who had or attempted VBAC had an emergency section so started labor. And the second time was much faster for all. But there's been no action down there for me! I'm planning to book ELCS at 40 weeks and see if I go into labor naturally before but no clue if that's realistic.

First- planned ELCS for breach, ended up with EMCS at 38.6 as went into labour.
Second planned ELCS. Ended up with EMCS at 38.3 as went into labour.

I did ask my midwife but she just gave a very vague answer about the body having a memory of pregnancy then moved the conversation on!

I have a feeling my ds would have been late or definitely after 39 weeks if I'd not had the section as he was born with quite bad breathing problems that you'd expect in a much earlier section.

I was 4 days late with my first and 14 days, had to be induced with second.

asong they induced you after having a c section? I've been told that's not safe practice.
