Would you or have you had one? We are talking about it at the moment and can't decide!

We did both times, but tbf the first time was after a horribly rocky start and it was mainly for reassurance between 12-20 weeks as the dating scan had meant we weren't confident to tell many people. The second time around was full-on shopping prep Wink Obviously it's not 100% anyway but it was good to have two chances to get two different opinions (gender scan plus anomaly scan). Can't imagine not finding out - we both like to prepare.

We did because I lost my first baby and the gender scan helped me to bond with the second one.

I didn't. I can't think of anything worse than knowing before the birth. I hi k it's so much nicer to find out and then have your baby in your arms, than find out and all you have are pictures.
I would never ever find out the sex. It's the greatest surprise in life, why ruin it?

Yes I did with all of mine.

It was still a lovely surprise meeting our baby, regardless of finding out the sex or not.

Whatever you choose will be lovely.

That's lovely!!!!
I found out at 20 weeks with all 3 of my children, and I'm glad I did 😊
Having a difficult time during this last few weeks, I lost my mum 5 weeks ago and I'm almost feeling detached from this pregnancy so I think finding out with a gender scan may help me bond.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Yes I found referring to her as a her and not an it really helped. My first pregnant and I couldn't quote believe it until 16 weeks when we found out gender really. Much easier to pick names too when it's just one gender to focus in and clothes shopping much easier and has got me really excited for her arrival xx

We paid for the extra Harmony screening and a by-product of those tests is that it can tell you the sex to something like 99.5% accuracy if you want to find out. My husband and I both wanted to know and it's been lovely to find out. We had no preference whatsoever obviously and it's not really affected shopping or decorating etc as I like mostly yellows, greens and reds - it's just nice to know something about our little one. It's up to the individual but to the person above who thinks it'd be awful - I'm sure newborn babies are surprising and special enough without needing a further element of the unknown!

I didn't have one in my 1st pregnancy but had 1 this time around. It's lovely finding out at either stage, 20w or birth! I'm just as excited this time around and the moment I meet him and see his little face for the first time will be just as incredible.

We had a gender scan 3 days before our wedding and immediately bought a fuck tonne of pink and girly stuff.

I believe in gender stereotyping and called it 'pink day'. She's a girly girl

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it you bloody gender buffoons
