Nipple piercing breastfeeding

Hi there, I had my nipple pierced over 10 years ago and although I took the bar out around 5 years ago, there is still a hole where it was.
29 weeks pregnant now and I'm getting a bit of discharge from both nips, but with the pierced one it seems to be coming out of the old holes (gross I know!).
Anyhoo I was just hoping someone could reassure me that this is normal - I'm a bit worried that I might struggle to BF on the pierced side??

Baby takes a massive part of the breast including the nipple into their mouth so where the actual milk comes from won't matter. If anything your flow will just be faster from that breast.
And baby controls taking it in with their tongue.

It's normal. I took my piercing out at 6 months pregnant as it was getting uncomfortable. That side she always found easier as the milk seemed to come out faster.
