Can GBS be detected in urine?

Just got back from hospital for a check from reduced movements. Had to do a urine sample whilst there and they are sending it to their lab for analysis as leukocytes are showing up in it.

I've had thrush like symptoms throughout my pregnancy that won't go, and I've heard that can be a sign. I didn't think to mention this tonight until now.

Yes mine was detected in a urine sample. I was put on 5 days of antibiotics and I've been told I'll need antibiotics in Labour

Mine was detected in urine. I wasn't out on antibiotics until during labour. Baby was 5 weeks early so was kept in and made sure baby was all clear. She was Smile

Thanks.

Will have to wait and see what results are.

Kshaw-glad baby was ok. Must have been a worry.

Salmonpinkcords-good luck with labour, when are you due?
