Worried about premature labour...

I'm 32 weeks with twins and I feel like my emotions are all over the place ☹️
Ragey one minute then weepy the next. (Hope that's not a sign of labour??)

I'm having a panic about going into early labour as it's quite common with twins...

I'm having a panic about the actual labour...

I think the uncertainty of it all is stressing me out! Basically any minute of any day (or night!) for the next 6 weeks (when I'll be induced) I could go into labour!

Not sure how to cope with that. Somebody talk me down ☹️ Anyone feel the same? X

Didnt want to read and run.. its just your hormones playing havoc. You may well go in to labour before 40 weeks but you dont know when so really theres no point getting stressed out! Try to enjoy the time you have left. Enjoy the pregnancy.
Are the twins a good weight?
I havent had twins but I have had 2 preterm labours. Its scary and stressful but NICU are amazing. Plus point is you get to meet your gorgeous twins sooner

I can't really add anything to help your emotions, but I had a pre-term labour at 27 weeks. My ds is a happy healthy 4 year old now. There were a number of twins in the SCBU at the same time as us, but they were only 34-36 weekers and all needed very minimal medical attention and were home within a couple of weeks. NICU is a scary place because of the all the machines etc, but at the stage you're at now with no obvious signs of labour being imminent, I think you can relax for the time being. There's a very high chance of all being well for you and your babies!

Thank you both 😊 I feel a bit calmer about it all now, I think I was having a bit of a freak out earlier! They're both a good weight so there's nothing to suggest there'd be any issues if they come now even if it is a bit early. I'm glad your preterm pregnancies worked out fine in the end although I'm sure it must have been scary at the time. Thank you for the comforting words x
