Bumps!

When did you start 'showing' with your first and what build are you? I'm really short and usually a 10/12 I'm only 11 weeks and my stomach has started to poke out and especially after I eat I look huge. I'm guessing it's bloating but I've never experienced bloating so not sure what is bloating! My belly goes really hard especially at the top where my hand is. I had a few comments before that said it's where I'm eating for two but I'm actually eating less now than I did before as I'm full so fast! Currently hiding it from work and others with baggy clothes. Pic to see what I mean Blush

PS. I'm measuring 11 weeks from my scan. But from AF I should be 14 weeks if that makes a difference. Pregnancy is confusing.

I'm 13 weeks and not really showing yet - got the tiniest of bumps but it's not always there! I'm 5'7" and a size 8/10

At 14 weeks, baby is still quite tiny - 3 inches or so? I didn't get anything that even looked like a proper bump until past 5 months, but then I'm over 6ft... I did bloat a lot early on which seemed to subside at about 3 months. This was me at 37 weeks.

Orange such a cute bump! Mine is most likely bloat I guess. I know baby is only small it's just frustrating cause I look pregnant already but I'm trying to hide it as haven't announced and didn't want to announce really until 20 weeks! X

I'm 5'7 and about 60kg. Started sporting a noticeable small bump at 19 weeks tho it can still be hidden under a loose/lumpy top.

With my 1st it was the third trimester before I properly showed & even then I could have just passed for having a rather large tummy in certain outfits Sad. I'm 5"6' & at the time I was a size 10 & roughly 8 stone 10. I have a very long torso though. I'm 26+5 with my 5th currently & I definitely look pregnant. Bumps come in all shapes & sizes Smile You're right it probably is bloating but it's still due to your pregnancy so if you want to claim it as a bump do, soon enough it will be there (& you'll be able to feel it wriggling) all the time.

5th!! Super mum. I'm terrified of looking after one other human being lol. Exciting but terrified. I can't wait to feel it wriggle. I didn't really have any feelings except wanting the baby until I seen it on the screen at 10 weeks. Now I full on feel love for baby now I've seen it. Can't waitSmile

I think mostly in he beginning it has a lot to do with bloat to be honest. I'm 5'6 and was a size 6, my stomach was flat, so as soon as I put a little bit on my belly it showed straight away! This was at 12 weeks. It doesn't look much but my stomach had always been flat. Again though think it was a lot to do with bloat lol x

Thank you lol. Wish my belly button hadn't popped out though haha. It went straight back in once he was born.

Congratulations! Your first? How exciting just in time for Christmas! X

My son was born 15th October 2016. Best time of year to have a baby as he's 6 months now so we can enjoy the summer with him! X

Yes in time for Christmas. Due 29 November but I have a feeling I'll go over and be near my birthday 6 December! Yes first baby. I was on the pill so very unplanned and shocked! Been on the pill since 14, now 22 never missed a pill or had diarrhoea sickness or antibiotics to stop working. Took at Same time. The only thing that changed was I was a lot healthier eating doing slimming world so they think that might have had something to do with it. Midwife said yes pill isn't very reliable in all honesty it happens a lot. I said they don't advertise that well enough then!! Haha x

I bloated loads in the first trimester too, then it developed into a "proper" bump around 20 weeks or so!

I had pretty serious bloating from 8 weeks so was in maternity jeans by week 13 Blush I'm medium build, gym-fit and 5'6 and it was pretty obvious that something was going on at 14 weeks. Now at 28 weeks I'm measuring average and have quite a neat bump.

I'm a size 8 and 5'6 tall and had bloating from about 7 weeks that turned into more of a hard bump at about 16 weeks. It's pretty obvious to me and those who know me but I think not that obv to others. Could definitely be mistaken for eating too many pies! I've got an anterior placenta and someone did say that might be why I'm showing earlier (?).

This is me at 35 weeks exactly. Bump hasn't grown much at all since then and has always measured bang on, despite baby being big (apparently).
I didn't start to show until about 6ish months.

I'm 5'8 and average/slim all over except for my tummy which has any annoying 'tyre' I can't shift! I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and still have no bump, but I'm not sure if the podgy tyre is making it harder to see!! It is my first so I'm hoping it will just take a bit longer for mine to pop, I keep seeing other people at the same sort of stage with lovely bumps already - I guess we are all different!
