Help! I can barely move!

I'm 39 +4 and am in absolute agony with my ribs to the point I can't actually move. I can't get a doctors appointment until after my due date but really don't know how I'm gonna manage until then!
I'm really worried now how I'm going to cope in labour with the added pain in my ribs. It's only on one side.
I've tried paracetamol and hot water bottles and ice packs but nothing works!
I'm so tempted to go to A&E but not really sure what they can do?
Anyone been in a similar situation and found anything that works to ease the pain?

Don't go through your GP. You're pregnant! Phone your midwife/maternity unit today and they'll see you today. Hope you get it sorted.

I had this with my first pregnancy and I'm sorry to say I had no relief until she was out 🙁 I'm starting to get similar symptoms now and I'm only 26 weeks so I'm dreading it. Painkillers didn't help.. nothing really did, try and sit on a excersize ball if you have one that did help me slightly! Feeling your pain! As for labour .. I doubt you will feel the pain as you will be more focused on baby and contractions! I hope you feel better x

Sad oh no. It seems to be worse today. I can't lift my arm or have it touch my side because it's just too painful. I'm literally stuck because it's too painful to move.

I am 40 weeks and the pain under my ribs is awful at times,I would try a hot bath (laying slightly on side if possible), hot water bottle, wedging pillows under your side in bed, I have cocodomol prescribed for SPD which helps. Not long to go for you hopefully.

I was prescribed cocodomol for back pain in earlier pregnancy and still have some left but a bit reluctant to take them so close to my due date
