Two vessel cord

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has insight into having a two vessel cord in pregnancy? Went for a scan today at 16+3 and been told I have a two vessel cord and also a low placenta, but I should find out more at the 20 week scan.

If anyone has any insight or experience as to how it may effect the pregnancy and baby that would be great?

Yes I had this. It is worrying but only if it happens along with other markers - usually it doesn't actually make any difference so try not to worry. I was told that it might lead to slow growth at the end of pregnancy but I gave birth at 36 weeks anyway and ds was fine.
