I'm 12 +4 officially due 7th October, but been told it's highly unlikely ill go full term. Currently in bed with a sinus infection started antibiotics yesterday and living on paracetamol :( but doctor let me hear their heartbeats yesterday. Any other twin carriers on here?

Hello :)

I am 17 weeks plus 5 pregnant with identical twins (first pregnancy). I also found out at the 12 weeks scan and it was a shock! However I am so excited now and wouldn't have it any other way now.

I have also been told that I will be induced or have a csection at 36/37 weeks, so it is quite normal to not go full term with a twin pregnancy.

I am scanned every two weeks and just got back from a scan. Was hoping to learn the genders today but was not able to. Hopefully will find out at the 20 week scan.

How are you feeling about things? I hope you get over your sinus infection soon xxxx

Glad I'm not alone! Congratulations!

We are having non identical twins. Currently running on the normal scans dates. I found out earlier as I'd actually booked in for an abortion but changed my mind when I found out it was twins. Was actually in two minds originally anyway and think I'd gone to the clinic more to talk to someone.

Had my 12week scan on friday. Got to hear the heartbeats yesterday as my go wanted to check all was ok as my coughing has been straining my bump.

I think my biggest concern is just how big I'm going to get at the moment! Everyone keeps teasing Blush

Congratulations!

Have you checked out the Tamba website? They have loads of really useful information and they run seminars and antenatal classes.

Have you been told they're non-identical because they're dcda? They can actually still be identical, as was the case for mine :-)

That's interesting to know twinney. I was told they would be non identical.... only 6 months to go!

Noticed yesterday that I have a small bump that actually got in the way of shaving my legs and picking up the bath mat yesterday....

I'm terrified at the size I may get too

I'm 18 weeks today and still don't really have a bump! Enjoying it while I can still move around and have some energy! :)
