probably means below 50th centile but not right at bottom end. So below average but not tiny.

Hi, my baby was also measuring small...he dropped from 31st percentile to 7th percentile on my 35 week scan so went for further Doppler scans to keep an eye on placenta cord performance and was induced at 37 weeks to be on the safe side. They'd predicted my baby was 4lb 10oz at 35 weeks but was born 4lb 7oz. We were under the neonatal transitional care team for 5 days in post labour ward and treated for jaundice, but other than that he is small but perfectly formed! Don't worry! He is 3rd percentile, so tiny, but already 5lb 9oz when weighed on weds so he's doing well. Have they estimated the weight for you?

Hi, I had to have a scan at 37 weeks, as I was only meandering 30 weeks gestation. Everything was fine. My baby was born 6 days late, weighing 6lb 7oz, bang on the 9th centile.
Try not to worry, u know it's easier said than done. I'm sure everything will be fine

Try not to worry if the doctors aren't. If they suspect a problem they would not have allowed to go home before it is safe.
My baby measures just under 10th centile at the moment. I'm 31+2. Have another scan in week and a half.
It's exactly what I was told that the baby is on the small side but nothing indicates that there is a problem.
It's difficult to not worry and it is constantly on my mind.
The only thing I can recommend is to keep an eye on baby's movements.
Fingers crossed for you.
Xxx
