Hi everyone I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with 4th & I was wondering if other parents or parents to be had any signs it could be a twin pregnancy ?
For example , I'm extremely tired , could sleep all day , I've gained 7lbs & clothes are becoming tighter, vivid dreams about a twin pregnancy .
My partner & our families have often joked about " what if it's twins" . I can't say sickness has affected me much I do however feel very sickly . So what I'm getting at is did anyone have a strong urge it was a twin pregnancy before the 1st scan at 12 weeks ?

There was a very similar thread to this which I've linked at the end.
Lots of experiences you may find helpful.

I for one showed really early with my DCDA twin boys and was extremely tired from 7 weeks but I've also had friends who were pregnant with singletons be just as tired as me, if not more.
I was also very rarely sick or nauseous with twins.

I personally think everyone's bodies deal with being pregnant differently and there is no real 'one size fits all' some people have huge bumps and loads of sickness with 1 baby, others have smaller bumps and no sickness with multiples.

to think I'm not 'bonkers' for thinking I might be pregnant with twins?

I'm pregnant with our fourth and at the initial stages both my husband and I were children convinced we were having twins. I was immediately enormous and exhausted, and the sickness took over my world for a few weeks. But no, the scan showed just one in there! I'm 30 weeks now and this week the midwife told me that my bump is on the small side 🤔........

I too was convinced dc 4 was dc 4 & 5. My exhaustion was terrible as well as my sickness but nope just the 1. It's been the same this time with dc5 the sonographer looked a bit Hmm when I asked her to double check there was only one but when I explained it was #5 she did it while chuckling. My friend had next to no syptoms with her twins yet her singleton pregnancy had every symptom going.

DC4s pregnancy wiped me the fuck out!

I think it's because you have so much going on already!
