Hcg and Progesterone Levels in Early Pregnancy - please help

Trying not to freak out by these - not sure what they mean. Could do with any support. Private test. Can't speak to doctor until after the weekend.

Test done at 4w2d.
Hcg is 326
Progesterone 74.4nmol

I have suspected low progesterone levels, which I was being referred for but fell pregnant in that cycle. I am worried that these are both low (particularly as I have no symptoms whatsoever).

I suffered a MMC last year and I am trying to be chilled out but I obviously don't have any hold of that yet. I just want to know whether this is a reasonable reading or not. I got 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital 3 days before this blood test.

I don't think those results alone can tell anyone much to be honest - I'm not medical but having worked on an early pregnancy unit I know that some women had their blood tested most days if they were not sure about the viability of the pregnancy and the nurses were usually looking for HCG levels to have doubled every day but with one measurement you can't tell whether this is happening. Everyone is different as well with their hormone levels and just because you've had no symptoms doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong. Some people take a while to develop symptoms, some don't, and at this point hormone levels will be low as they get higher and higher for most of the first trimester. Try not to worry or read too much into your private blood test, I know you are on edge having had a previous MMC but lots of women who've been through this do go on to have successful pregnancies later on.

Thanks for your reply HN42 - you're right, little I can tell from the Hcg!

It wasn't a private blood test though - ordered by the GP due to the low progesterone levels that I had received on the day 21 test before I fell pregnant. I'm not sure whether this result is a decent one for 4w 2d or not but hopefully the GP will get back to me today on it.

So - yes, my concern is more that it looks like low progesterone may have been at the root of my previous MMC and I don't want that happening again if I can possibly help it.
