My hips are massive after pregnancy and it's really getting me down. It's not fat bone has changed shape.
I'm 12 weeks post partum and just read hip binding only works up to 8 weeks. Has anyone tried anything else and it been sucessful?

It takes your body 9months to adapt to carrying the baby so really after 12 weeks you might be expecting a little too much from yourself!

Your body changes after pregnancy but your hip size is not affected.

My hip size is affected. There is no excess fat on that area and there is a 3" difference all the way round before compared to after. Every website I've looked at which talks at post partum shape says your pelvis and hips widen during pregnancy to let the baby through the birth canal due to the relaxin hormone. It's not a case of some baby weight I know that will go through diet and exercise

As previously mentioned you may need to give it more Time!!

Apparently relaxin still stays in your body 9 months after you've finished breast feeding, or birth if you're not breast feeding. I would give it more time though I don't think it always 100% goes back to the way it was.
