Do you always bleed when you have a miscarriage?

I found out I was pregnant about a week ago. I had one day of symptoms, exhausted, sick, non stop bathroom visit and headaches. But for the past four days I have felt nothing like I was just sick for a day. I havent bled or had any stomach pains but im really worried. Im only five weeks so havent even seen the midwife yet. Ive quit smoking and have been drinking lots of water but I just cant get this out of my head. Thanks for answering

Some people just have no symptoms, especially that early on. I only felt a bit rough at week 8. Try not to worry. You can pay for an early scan if you feel like you can't wait though.

A miscarriage will always involve bleeding, but the embryo can fail to develop properly but not miscarry - it's called a missed miscarriage and may have no bleeding,

You can also bleed without it being anything risky to the baby!

There really are no certainties. All you can do is not panic - what will be will be.
