Is/has anyone else encountered this?
I'm very petite and slim, and I lost quite a lot of weight (which I didn't have spare!) during the first trimester with really bad nausea.
My weight shot up by 2 kg just after my nausea ended at the end of the first trimester, but has now stayed the same for the last month or so.
I mentioned this to the midwife but she said they have no guidelines for the not gaining enough scenario, only for too much! She wasn't worried though (my bump is big enough - and my arms and legs keep getting skinnier, so looks like baby is doing ok!).
But I just wondered if anyone else had encountered this? Does the body suddenly play catch-up later on or does it stay like this?
(By the way I'm eating masses and very healthy, so it's not from lack of food!)
