Braxton hicks with slight cramping?

Hi, I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my first and for the last few days I've been having what I think are braxton hicks, only having read about them online apparently they are not supposed to be painful. The ones I've been having aren't exactly what i would call painful but when they happen it feels like a light period cramping. Is this normal or do you think this is something I should be worried about? I'm planning to call the midwife tomorrow morning just in case but could really do with some opinions as it's not something I've ever experienced before.

For me braxton hicks feel like a tight squeezing sensation and bump goes hard and round, often feels achy/cramp like at the bottom of my bump had this since about 13wks but this is my 5th so knew exactly what they were, midwife said it was normal and to take paracetamol if needs be. I'm now pretty much constantly having bh 38wks tomorrow. Aches are pretty normal, tightenings with pain that doesn't go away with paracetamol or become at regular intervals at 21wks are not. Do feel free to ring your midwife though for reassurance.
