Bloating during pregnancy

Hi all,

Just wanted to know if many of you have suffered with bloating during your pregnancy?

I'm 16 weeks and it gets so bad it hurts by the afternoon and really painful by bed time. Also annoys me because the top part of my stomach is sticking out and where I am supposed to be getting a bump is flat!

Any advice on foods or drinks to avoid/consume to help?

Thanks x

Yes had this badly in the first trimester.

Eating little and often helps but the main thing that helped was walking. I know it's not always what you want to do when it's cols outside but was the only thing that eased it.

You have my sympathies. Same here. I get so sore and my trousers make it worse. Might be resorting to leggings soon. Am fine in the morning - just the afternoon / evening too xx

Yes but thankfully it's stopped now (20w). I found drinking peppermint tea helped.
