Pregnancy after miscarriage

Deep down I think I know I'm not pregnant but holding on too all hope until the end....in August we fell pregnant with twins after IVF but miscarriaged in August.

To cut a long story short - it took two medicinal miscarriages & a D&C to complet the process in October.

December was our first real chance of trying after my first ever period since treatment

10 days after ovulation I've had brown discharge which isn't like me. I was suffering a cold at this time too. I know implemention bleeding is only meant to last three days max.

Has anyone else been through this? If it's a period it's very odd and very early.

I haven't had any cramps except around ovulation time.

I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative I'll try again in four days as it's a little early.

I just feel so confused about what's going on in my belly and just wishing for a successful pregnancy test.

Hi,

Sounds like you had it tough with your miscarriage, I'm so sorry for your loss

It's hard to say if it's pregnancy signs or just your body getting back on track following your miscarriage.

After my d&c my first period wasn't like my usual cycle. Was very heavy and stop/start.
That being said, you are more fertile after a pregnancy
/ miscarriage so fingers crossed for you it's implantation bleeding. When is your period due?

Thanks so much for replying. I think in all honestly I think it's my body regulating. It was a tough year 2016. Hope this new year brings about some positive eventually. It's just this in between stage is frustrating because we were just really hoping that we might have got lucky x

I had five days of spotting around implantation and was sure each day that my period would kick in. Sure enough at 9dpo i got a positive test and i've had not a hint since. Had a perfect scan at 8w and nervously awaiting my 12 week scan in just under two weeks.

I've had two mcs at 5w and 7w in 2016 so also very nervous, but the spotting post ovulation certainly hadn't affected anything by 8w this time.

Interesting you bled for five days. It's just this limbo.

No other Preg symptoms mind but holding out until period actually starts!

I miscarried at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy. 5 weeks later I've just found out I'm pregnant again. Obviously it's early days but has anybody else had this worry. My symptoms this time compared to last time are a lot clearer but obviously every pregnancy is different. Hope everyone's pregnancy's go happy and healthy
