Pregnancy

Medical records are wrong

We are TTC and I'm concerned because I've seen over my GP's shoulder on the computer that it says I have had "chronic depression" and eating disorders when I've had neither?!!! I have had anxiety issues and been on antidepressants in the past (years ago) for this but never been diagnosed with depression! I'm worried it will affect my pregnancy care.. what should I do?

How can I "prove" the records are wrong? It's definitely a mistake! I've never had eating issues or measles(?!) which it also said.

Contact the practice manager and explain that you think there are mistakes on your record

You can ask to get access to your medical records. Shouldn't be a problem to do, might be a form to fill in.

Thanks - is it possible to get them amended?! Had anyone else done this? Thanks in advance

If they are that wrong it sounds like your record might be mixed up with someone else's, possibly someone with the same name. First step as PP said is to ask for a copy of your record. That would have information about when these illnesses/diagnosis were recorded.
