I've had it in the past (discovered during the removal of a bartholins cycst) I was test at 36 weeks with previous pregnancy and it was 'gone' although I'ce raised it with current pregnancy (due in 9 days) MW didn't want to test be again 😡 So I've got to hope that I'm not carrying it actively again. Usually it's fairly straightforward. Antibiotics just before birth.

I had it and they put me on an iv drip with antibiotics when I went into labour and then kept us in for 24 hrs after delivery for observation. All very straight forward and no problems at all. Based on my experience I wouldn't worry! Good luck with it allSmile

I've had it in 2 of my pregnancies, showed up in urine tests. The 1st one I didn't get the antibiotics so had to stay in for 4 days after the delivery so my son could get iv antibiotics and observations, the 2nd time I got the antibiotics in time. I'm pregnant again but nothing has shown up yet for group b strep but ill have antibiotics just incase. Which I'm pleased with. It's all straight forward. Nothing to worry about. Do you have a sticker on your notes for the strep b?
