I'm 14 weeks and for the past few days I've had on/off mild cramps in my tummy and today I've got like a dull ache in my lower back. Is this normal?! I've spoke to on duty midwife and she says it sounds very much like stretching pain uterus and ligaments growing at this stage will cause twinges and cramps. It's not severe just uncomfortable. Anyone else experienced this? X

im around the same as you....14/15 week

I seemed to have more cramps and defo back pain. Sleeping is so uncomfortable at the moment.Ive even took painkillers which helped.
I am told the 2 trimester is all about the stretches and niggly pains as baby is growing quite fast.

I just wish id been warned about the constipation too hahaha

Thanks for replying! I'm actually laid in bed now and when I turn over my lower back twinges so like you say must be so much growing and stretching going on in there at the mo! It's crazy just seems so early for baby/uterus to cause pain!
