Hi, I'm 8 weeks and I have experienced some slight pain, more like a stretching. If you are really concerned though I would recommend calling your midwife or gp just to check xx

Hi Welshy!
I am 17wks+6 days and still get cramping! It's normal because the uterus (I think that's it) is growing for the baby. I was worried but was told it was normal! Sometimes i had pains higher up and was told it was gas pains hahahahaha!
If you are worried though don't hesitate to ask your midwife !

Thanks ladies I've got my booking in appt next week so will ask then. Had a early scan a few days ago and they saw a hb so I'm hoping I'm just being a worrier. Thanks for your advice x

I had an early scan to check I was pregnant...I originally went to the docs not feeling well and he asked if I could be pregnant and I said no because I was always told I couldn't get pregnant or would struggle a lot & we were both shocked at the positive result...here I am on my 18th week and still getting some slight cramps, i am also a worrier and since becoming pregnant even more emotional and cry and stupid things hah!
Last night and today I have aches/mild cramps and just feel so poorly, I was tempted to ring my midwife but won't bother unless I feel worse.

I am sure though that if you really are worried then just ring and ask to speak to a midwife, they are so lovely and helpful.
