Bleeding/spotting in early pregnancy?!?! Help!!

Hi all

Im very tentatively thinking I got my faint BFP this morning - but I have been having a mix of red blood, dark brown and pink spotting today. Nothing on a pad but there when I wipe, it's very concerning. I have no cramps or anything but I also don't really have any symptoms (I never have really).
I'm so worried I'm about to have a chemical pregnancy...

Has anyone had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I'm so worried.

Hi OP
Sorry to hear you're going through this, it's so stressful. This could be implantation bleeding, many women experience this. My experience wasn't positive but I've seen many threads like this with posters reporting positive outcomes. I'd call your GP tomorrow though for their advice. Wishing you all the best with this.

Hello OP,

I really feel for you. It's such a horrible limbo type of situation.

Not sure of your back story but I have had both a positive ( she's now two and half and I had a big bleed with her) and a negative experience from spotting etc.

It's difficult because I do think that this type of thing is very individual.

Have you got an Early Pregnancy Assessment clinic near you? I'm based in a major city and you can usually just arrive and wait to be seen. They will be able to help you. Hopefully you can do the same.

Hoping the bleeding stops X

Flowers Sorry OP. That's rotten. Are you physically ok? And of course it's not stupid to feel sad, it's a rollercoaster of emotion the TTC/pregnancy lark.
Be kind to yourself today and take care

Sorry to hear that OP, it's awful Sad
I'd still go to your GP just to get everything checked out and mainly to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. It's absolutely acceptable to be sad - I had only just found out I was pregnant when I started bleeding and I still cried my heart out. I found it difficult because nobody apart from DH and DM knew and that felt wrong. Pretending everything was normal felt wrong. When I was ready I told some close family and friends and that helped. I also bought a charm to put on my bracelet so I'd always have a reminder of my baby I couldn't meet.
However we did have a happy ending, I fell pregnant again and my DS is now 1. I hope the next time you have better luck.

hannah I'm sorry to hear you're going through this too. I'd call your GP tomorrow. I hope everything works out for you.
